Jake is the Managing partner at Clear Ocean Partners and has over 20+ years of maritime and investment experience. As a shareholder and principal, Jake is a Board Member of Womar Logistics Pte Ltd, which is the largest Chemical Tanker Pool company in the market. He also managed Womar’s investment in the IPO and listing of Stainless Tankers ASA (ticker: STST) which is listed on the EuroNext (Oslo) Exchange.
Jake is a Co-founder in Easterly Clear Ocean which has deployed $200M of equity in to Chemical and Product tankers since 2021. Over the past 10 years Jake has been active in maritime investments raising and deploying capital for Crude, Product and Chemical Tankers, Offshore Drill Rigs, Offshore Support Vessels, US Jones Act vessels (Blue & Brown Water) and LNG ships.
Jake is a member of the Connecticut Maritime Association Educational Foundation (CMA-EF). Jake is a graduate of Northeastern University with a BS in Business Administration.
Andy is a partner at Clear Ocean Partners with 15 years of experience deploying and managing capital across the investment spectrum, including private equity, real assets, listed derivatives trading and early-stage venture. Andy is a Board Member of Womar Logistics Pte Ltd and is the co-founder of Easterly Clear Ocean.
Andy is also the founder of The Mahopac Group, a global macro investment firm focused on long-term niche opportunities with secular tailwinds. Andy represents The Mahopac Group on the Boards of Affinity Farms LLC, a 3,000 acre vertically integrated grain farming, marketing, and distributing operation in Kentucky, and Laniakea Funds LLC, a volatility arbitrage hedge fund.
Andy began his career as a derivatives trader for Optiver US LLC, a leading proprietary trading firm, becoming head of precious metals trading in under two years. Andy holds a BA in Mathematics from Cornell University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. Andy is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Certified Sommelier.
Mr. Greene serves as a Managing Partner of James Alpha Management, a single-family office with multiple investments in both public and private companies.
Mr. Greene has founded and developed multiple companies ranging from asset management to technology and specialty chemicals He is the former Chairman & CEO of CRA Rogers Casey which he built into the fifth largest pension consulting firm in the US, managing over $500B in institutional assets.
Prior to CRA Rogers Casey, Mr. Greene was a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company and subsequently founded Bryant Park Capital, a privately held investment bank specializing in private equity financing and mergers & acquisitions for both private and public companies in the U.S. and Europe.
Mr. Greene holds a B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University, a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University, and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
Chris is the VP of Finance at Clear Ocean Partners. Prior to joining Clear Ocean, Chris spent eight years at Glencore, one of the world’s largest natural resource companies. Chris began his career as an auditor with KPMG's New York Financial Services (NYFS) practice.
Chris is an actively licensed CPA in Connecticut, New York, and Florida. He holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairfield University.
Chris is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA), the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA), the Connecticut Maritime Association (CMA), and the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA). He serves as a committee member on the NYSSCPA’s CFO Committee, as well as the Investment Management Committee and is a member of the CTCPA’s CFO Special Interest Group.
Additionally, Chris is a member of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce (NACC), the Sons of Norway, the American Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) and the Scandinavian Club of Fairfield, CT.
